Azkals v Icheon Citizen FC

January 21, 2012 (Saturday)

Another Football SaturDATE with the Kaholeros and Azkals.

Dapat manunuod ng UFL games at UMak but decided not to kasi siguradong I'll be late for the Azkals game at RMS.

Left the house at around 1:30pm.  MRT to Taft then foodtrip muna, chicken isaw merienda at Tiktilaok, then LRT to Vito Cruz.

Call time for Kaholeros was 3pm at McDo Harrison Plaza pero dumating ako after 3 and wala pa sila.  I think they were all at UMak for the UFL games.

Met new Kaholeros, actually, ngayon ko lang sila nakasama because I was kinda busy last year with my bully kids nung sumali sila as Kaholeros

So we waited for the others until 5pm then we went inside RMS na.  Kami na ang mga bibo kids dahil 10 palang kami nun.

"Ano pinipicturan ninyo diyan, wala naman tao sa taas?"

The Kia Rio
So finally nagdatingan narin ang mga football fans, we were worried na konti lang makakanuod well because first kulang sa promotions, advertisements online and sa tv and well isa na rin factor yung UFL game on the same day. But it's ok, dahil dumating din sila and our fellow Kaholeros :) Yay!

And the moment we were all waiting for, ang paglabas ng players for their warm up, syempre, naghanap ng gwapo sa "Super Junior FC" este Icheon FC

With my friend, Sarah

Sae Ha Hwang, Icheon FC's GK

The Azkals Alyansa warm up

See that's Manong Ian and the Neo Azkal hottie Denis Wolf and the others, if I'm correct Daddy Rob, Jerry Barbaso and Manong Chieffy

Denis Wolf really reminds me of my pretty boy Yannick Tuason, but he's better than my baby. :)
Sorry pretty boy

Kaholero duties

The FIFA Flag

HalfTime:
Kuya Ebong aka The Blue Haired Fanatic announced that the brand new Kia Rio will be raffled off after the game. And umikot ang 2 Kias around the pitch with the dancers [na pinagtatalunan namin kung babae nga ba o pa girl lang] and Escola de Samba de Manila.

So Icheon FC scored a goal in the first half but the much awaited equalizer from Fil-Italian Marwin Angeles happened in the second half.

Kaholeros chants were louder than ever and we were all shouting "ISA PA PILIPINAS GOAL GOAL GOAL"

There was no additional time, instead a Penalty shootout to determine the winner of this match.  YES! FINALLY NATUPAD DIN ANG WISH KO MAKAPANUOD NG LIVE NG PENALTY SHOOTOUT.  :)

If I remember it correctly manong Chieffy and Ruben Doctora scored sa penalty shootout but the Koreans were still better  at this sport.

Even if we lost we had too many shots on target and shots on goal, we had a strong defense so that doesn't really make the Azkals a losing team.

See photos below for the Traditional Walk after the game.

Daddy Rob Gier

Si Misagh talaga parang tatakbo sa Congress. "Vote Me, Misagh Bahadoran for Congress" Hahaha kyotkyot!

Denis YOU SO HOT.

CARLOS ALBERTO!!! Carlie Mi Amor

And kahit pa matalo sa games ang Azkals, hindi ko sila ikakahiya at Kakahol pa rin ako. Para sa Football at Pilipinas! :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the game...we were hoping na medyo maluwag na security para malapitan  namin ang Azkals, but unfortunately, masyado pa rin silang mahigpit so we didn't have photos with them...SA UFL nalang :) HAHA

Pero this caught our attention... ewan ko ba kay kuya driver bakit sumabit un Azkals bus. Basag tuloy yung window. Tsk. Hahaha

Football: Azkals Alyansa v CF Internacionale de Madrid

January 7, 2012

"Business Meeting" in the morning then rushed home so I can get to the Sendong Charity Game venue (RMS) on time.  Unfortunately, I was so busy with twitter that I didn't notice that I AM ALREADY LATE... HAHA

First Kaholeros' activity for the year 2012.

Meeting Place: McDonald's Harrison Plaza
Meeting Time: 11:00am

I got to the venue at around 1:45 pm and we stayed there until 2 something so we can wait for the others who were late.

I'm not really a writer/blogger so just check out the photos and captions so you'll know what happened that day.

Full time: CF Madrid 3 - 1 RP Azkals

The Azkals may have lost to CF Madrid but it doesn't matter because they came to the game to play for the victims of the Typhoon Sendong.

After the game we waited for the players so we can have our photos taken with them and have them sign our azkals jerseys, stuff toy, planners but the bouncers were bitchinly telling us to leave the area.

I was lucky to have Manong Ian Araneta and David Basa sign my Azkals planner. :)
