Saturday Random Thought

While we were at SM Megamall, in Mandaluyong/Ortigas this afternoon, I noticed how most of the call center agents are POORLY DRESSED.  I don't understand why they have those kind of clothes given that they earn a lot plus night differential for most plus attendance bonus to those who are always on time for work.  Compared to professionals (like me and my friends w/ PRC licenses) who work for firms and private corporations, we earn a little less than what they have but we still manage to dress up, DECENTLY. 

So here's the question... why do they have to earn that much when MOST OF THEM what they do at work is sit for 8 hours, deal with crazy irate customers, annoy potential customers (for telemarketing), access social networks while at the site, flirt with their teammates (take note: even if they're already married), have crazy sex while at work, put their customers' calls on hold for a very long time while they smoke outside/eat blah blah blah.

I think this is why most graduates prefer to work in call centers rather than have a better future working with professionals in private firms and corporations.  They want the easy life, slack at work and earn THAT MUCH. 

Well,  all I'm saying is that, shouldn't we, the graduates & professionals who work in private firms, private & multinational corporations get better compensation than those who work in call centers?

March 26, 2012 Today I am Grateful for...

Another day to see my family.  Another chance to make things right.  Another working day so I can save up for my future.

 

        Even though my day didn’t start out right, I’m still thankful that I noticed these things on my way to work:

                I don’t have much in my bank account right now but at least I still have money I can use to buy my food,

                I still have money for my transportation expenses to and from the office.

                Even if it’s hard to get up in the morning, I’m still thankful that I have a job.

               

        Of course I’ll be forever grateful for the people I have in my life who inspire me to be a better person every day.

 

 

 

Enough of this WORK SHIT

"Enough of this bullshit" says my brain.  I'm actually about to quit this [fucking] job. 

Do I really have to take in all the blame for not being able to give you staff for your engagements?

I do understand that I, the staff scheduler, should be able to fix  your staffing problems.  But I do believe that you should also have a part in this.  I can't blame you guys if there are times that you hoard staff for your engagements but you have to be reasonable.  If the client is delayed in giving the documents, why not lend your staff to some small engagements who need staff? I know it's hard but some are already doing this staff sharing thing.  Sometimes, you have to compromise. 


Sometimes, people think that my job is easy, go ahead, try to be me for a week. Let's see if you can handle it. 

**You have to understand that perfection doesn't happen overnight.  You have to give it time.  I'm not as perfect as the other Audit department's scheduler.  I still have a lot to learn.**

Kapag:

1) May lakad, hindi ka man lang susunduin o ihahatid pauwi ng mga kabarkada mo.  UMUWI KANG MAGISA!  PAGBABAYARIN KA PA NG GAS O MAGPAPALIBRE PA SA IYO.

2) Normal na sa pandinig mo yung "Tara SEX tayo mamaya after training" Bastos sa pandinig ng iba pero ang totoong message lang naman eh, "Kain tayo sa Sinangag Express, Tangina Bro nakakagutom training"

3) Madalas ka nilang tanungin kung Maganda ba o Cute yung babaeng dumaan.  Ang definition mo ng "MAGANDA" ay: nakakasawa nang tignan pag matagal, "PRETTY o CUTE": di masyadong kapansinpansin pero hindi ka magsasawang tignan.

4) Kapag may handaan, makikipagcontest ka pa sa kanila: Pabilisan makaubos, paramihan ng mainom na beer, paramihan ng shots, burp contest...lahat na ata ng kalokohang maisipan nila.

5) Alam mong mali yung nang 2time yung kaibigan mo pero sa sobrang immuned mo na sa mga kalokohan nila, kukunsintihin mo nalang. [THIS IS BAD, VERY BAD]  at kapag alam mo mahuhuli na sila, gagawa ka ng paraan para malusutan nila ito [MAS MASAMA ITO]

6) Kahit anong gwapo o sweet pa ng mga kaibigan mo, hinding hindi ka maiilab sa kanila, kahit pa araw araw ka nilang tinatawag na "BABE", "LOVE" o "HONEY" 

7) Hindi na magtatanong mga magulang mo kung sino mga kasama mo at di na nila sasabihin na "anak, hindi ba delikado na ikaw lang nagiisang babae sa lakad?"  Kahit after 2 days ka pa umuwi ng bahay.

8) Kapag may mga overnight at out of town, walang mangyayari sa inyo kahit pa lasing kayong lahat at pagitnaan ka nila sa pagtulog.

9) Kapag may nagkakagusto sayo, asahan mo, dadaan yun isa isa sa kanila bago nya makuha matamis mong YES. 

10) Kahit babae kausap mo, minsan natatawag mo na siyang "Bro", "Dude", "Tsong", "Pre" dahil ganyan ang tawag sa iyo ng guy friends mo.

11) Pag yung crush mo eh athletic type, AY HAWAK GALORE KA SA ABS AT MUSCLES NYA :)) At pag nagpaturo ka sa kanya paano maging fit, hindi siya maiilang na turuan ka. 

Eto naman ay based sa experiences ko with my friends.  Maraming signs actually para malaman kung ONE OF THE BOYS ka na.


Kahit ganyan mga guy friends, mataas pa rin respeto nila sa akin kaya love na love ko sila.


Hindi masamang maging ONE OF THE BOYS. Yun lamang po!

I wasn't really feeling well that day.  So afternoon palang, I already called my cardiologist and dentist for appointments for the next day and good that my appointments were after 5pm pa. 

Hindi ko alam how or why I checked the PBA D-League site but, for some reason I checked the schedule.  Then I asked the Bully Girls kung sino ang available to watch the PBA D-League.  Yes, minsanan lang kasi magsabay ang Blackwater and Freego Jeans.  :) Semis na pala at Do or Die games pa...and y'all know what happens :)) tssss...SORRY NA KIDS! :D

Madam Anagon, our Fashionista Blogger Bully was the only available bully to watch it with me.  Yes I almost forgot na birthday nya kinabukasan ng day ng game.  So happy that she's not fully booked for that day kasi I know how much she misses my cutie Ken. Yup I miss my boys, my Barbie and Ken and my very spoiled Boy Crunch.  Let's not forget their step daddy, Mr. Suplado.  :)

Left the house after lunch to meet Madam @ Shang.  Bought chocolates for Boy Crunch and Ken sa Mercury Drug tapos nag taxi na pa Ynares. :)

Medyo konting late lang naman kami heehee, mga 2nd Q na ata pero oks lang, and leading pa nun ang Blackwater...

Nakakamiss ang basketball scene and I'd have to admit nakakamiss din yung mga maiingay na beki sa games. :))

After the game and picture with the kids sa may VIP area [nuks VIP area pa, eh dug out lang naman talaga], umalis na rin kami ni Anagon but sumaglit lang ako at kinalabit si Oping para mag "Hi" nang hindi ako masabihang di ko naman siya pinapansin at suplada ako. [Ano nga naman karapatan ko para magsuplada, kumpara sa mga ex niya, di naman ako kagandahan diba? HAHAHA]

And from Ynares, bumalik kami ni Anagon sa Shang at nagiba na ng mga landas, siya papunta ng Greenbelt at ako naman sa Clinica Manila Megamall for my medical appointments.  At nakasalubong ko pa si Christian Bautista [OMG ang kinis at ang gwapo niya talaga] with a pretty girl habang palabas ako ng Shang.

*Sa mga ginawa ko nung araw na to, parang wala akong sakit, yes, temporarily nawala yung sama ng pakiramdam ko kasi kasama ko yung mga nagpapasaya sa akin at nagtatanggal ng stress sa office.  Normal naman ang stats ko accdg. to my cardiologist, pasaway lang talaga ako dahil lagi akong nagpupuyat.  No need to worry about my heart and pulse.  And accdg. to my dentist...kailangan ko na ipabunot ang 3 molars ko...KAMUSTA NAMAN... :(*

Azkals v Icheon Citizen FC

Another Football SaturDATE with the Kaholeros and Azkals.

Dapat manunuod ng UFL games at UMak but decided not to kasi siguradong I'll be late for the Azkals game at RMS.

Left the house at around 1:30pm.  MRT to Taft then foodtrip muna, chicken isaw merienda at Tiktilaok, then LRT to Vito Cruz. 

Call time for Kaholeros was 3pm at McDo Harrison Plaza pero dumating ako after 3 and wala pa sila.  I think they were all at UMak for the UFL games.

Met new Kaholeros, actually, ngayon ko lang sila nakasama because I was kinda busy last year with my bully kids nung sumali sila as Kaholeros

So we waited for the others until 5pm then we went inside RMS na.  Kami na ang mga bibo kids dahil 10 palang kami nun.

So finally nagdatingan narin ang mga football fans, we were worried na konti lang makakanuod well because first kulang sa promotions, advertisements online and sa tv and well isa na rin factor yung UFL game on the same day. But it's ok, dahil dumating din sila and our fellow Kaholeros :) Yay!

And the moment we were all waiting for, ang paglabas ng players for their warm up, syempre, naghanap ng gwapo sa "Super Junior FC" este Icheon FC

Kaholero duties

The FIFA Flag

HalfTime:

 Kuya Ebong aka The Blue Haired Fanatic announced that the brand new Kia Rio will be raffled off after the game. And umikot ang 2 Kias around the pitch with the dancers [na pinagtatalunan namin kung babae nga ba o pa girl lang] and Escola de Samba de Manila.

So Icheon FC scored a goal in the first half but the much awaited equalizer from Fil-Italian Marwin Angeles happened in the second half.  

Kaholeros chants were louder than ever and we were all shouting "ISA PA PILIPINAS GOAL GOAL GOAL" 

 There was no additional time, instead a Penalty shootout to determine the winner of this match.  YES! FINALLY NATUPAD DIN ANG WISH KO MAKAPANUOD NG LIVE NG PENALTY SHOOTOUT.  :)

If I remember it correctly manong Chieffy and Ruben Doctora scored sa penalty shootout but the Koreans were still better  at this sport.  

Even if we lost we had too many shots on target and shots on goal, we had a strong defense so that doesn't really make the Azkals a losing team.

After the game...we were hoping na medyo maluwag na security para malapitan  namin ang Azkals, but unfortunately, masyado pa rin silang mahigpit so we didn't have photos with them...SA UFL nalang :) HAHA

Pero this caught our attention... ewan ko ba kay kuya driver bakit sumabit un Azkals bus. Basag tuloy yung window. Tsk. Hahaha
